Community Breaks Ground On Broadneck Trail Phase II

During Bike to School Day yesterday, the Department of Recreation and Parks held a groundbreaking ceremony for Phase II of the Broadneck Peninsula Trail. In attendance were Corporal Jose Cruz-Miranda, Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails board member Ed Parker, County Executive Steve Schuh, County Councilman Michael Peroutka, BikeAAA President Jon Korin, Department of Public Works Manager Khadija Abdur-Rahman, Department of Recreation and Parks Director Rick Anthony, Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails President Jack Keene, Corporal Kam Cooke and several students.
